internal formwork partitions & Steel work

This terraced house commissioned AnM Consultancy to knock down the existing partitions and stud walls, replacement and reinstallation of window formwork, installation of new partition and stud walls, installation of floor joists for the 1st floor and installation of steel beams and columns. The client wanted a complete revamp of the house interior structure and layout, which consisted of temporary propping and temporary works. We had to do the break down in segments. 

The stages were such that we demolished the structure, simultaneously supporting the demolished area with structural steel, and then temporarily support the segment that followed and repeat the process. Once we completed the ground floor we initiated our team to use the architects layout plans, to build the internal partitions and stud walls. In conjunction with our segments, the formwork for the windows would be initiated, and we would install steel lentils to support the brick work, commencing the window form work to the drawing specifications. At this junction the process would be repeated on the first floor. As we had to follow suit to support the floor above.
